  1. Five Trafford athletes have been selected to be part of the England Athletics Talent Development Programme. They are Caden Uzoigwe (Discus), Bradley Giblin (5k), Jonny Stock (800m), Dan Akinradewo (Triple Jump) and Halle Ferguson (High Jump).

 

  1. Abigail Pawlett has been selected to be part of UKA's Year 3 Olympic Futures Academy.

 

  1. Paula Dunn, Life Member, has been appointed to the top position of Head Coach for UKA`s Great Britian team through to the Paris Olympics. Paula joined the club as an 11 year-old and went onto compete in various Olympic, World, European & Commonwealth Games/Championships.

 

  1. The U15 Boys team of Archie Greenwood, Pio Aron & Fin Dobson Emmas won the National Cross-Country Relay race at Mansfield.

 

  1. Pio Aron also won the U15 Boys Race in the Manchester Cross-Country League at Heaton Park whilst the boys teams were 1st and 2nd at both this match and the most recent match at Wythenshawe Park where Joe Deighton won the U20 Men`s race.

 

  1. The track resurface gets ever closer with the first onsite meeting with the Project Management team having taken place. Confirmation of dates will be announced imminently.

 

  1. The club's Annual General Meeting takes place on Thursday 23rd November.

 

  1. Freddie Flintoff was a recent visitor to the stadium in his cricket coaching capacity.
