The Great North Run Half Marathon race has been going since 1981 and for nearly as long there has also been a top quality Junior Great North Run Road Race. The 4km race runs next to the Tyne crossing the Swing Bridge then back over the Millennium Bridge making it a relatively flat and fast course. Fin Dobson Emmas was 10th u15 Boy in last years race but with a 32 second improvement and a kick finish Fin claimed the u15 Boys title in 13.04.
