Earlier this month Jay Hutchinson represented England in the Home Counties Fell Champs in Pebbles, Scotland. This was in the u17 age group, even though Jay had just turned 15 years old. In hot conditions and on a short fast course Jay finished 10th out of 20 against the best from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland. Jay has run Fell races since the age of 8 and this was the culmination of a great season on the fells this summer.
