Well done to everyone on another day of wonderful performances for the Lower YDL team. There were many improved and personal bests throughout the day and every point definitely counted as you will see from the results!!!

A big thanks to all our officials and volunteers, who enabled the meeting to progress smoothly and also contributed 40 points to our overall score.

The relays played a very important part to a strong finish to the match as we amassed 42 points, which was more than any other team.

Provisionally we finished in 2nd place today, which means we will finish in 4th position overall. 

As ever in this league the results are very close between Trafford, Sale and Preston. In Match 1 only 8 points separated all three teams, and then just 7 points between Sale and Trafford in Match 2. In this match at the moment there are 11.5 points between the three with Trafford in 2nd by just 1.5 points. 

We now look forward to the Regional Lower Final at Stretford on Saturday 30th July
