There were some great performances by Trafford athletes at the Cheshire Cross Country Championships on a very muddy course at Pickmere last weekend.

 

Ben Keely won the Under 13 Boys race, James Knockton 2nd in Under 17 Men, Gavin Tomlinson 3rd (1st Vet) in Senior Men and Vicki Cronin 12th in Senior Womens race.

 

Finley Proffitt won the Under 20 Mens race - his 15th Cheshire Championship win.
He has been rewarded for his recent excellent performances with his 1st England vest at the Belfast International Cross Country later this month.
