Ava Clough is the latest Trafford junior to be selected for England. Another example of working hard each year to see regular improvements. Ava's strength will be over the longer distances so to be running this well bodes well for her future.

Cardiff was the venue for the Home International 5km road race championship.

With a time of 16.50 Ava finished 1st U20 and 12th overall in the women's race, as well as being part of the winning England team.

Fin Proffitt continued his great form over different distances and surfaces. Competing for the England Senior Men's team he finished 3rd overall (2nd England runner) and was part of the winning England team with a time of 13.56.
