- There were numerous club medallists at the Northern Championships in Hull:
Gold Beth Reid SW 1500m Caden Uzoigwe SM Discus Sammy Cuffe U18M 400m Beth Pendlebury U18W Shot & Discus Ben Roberts U18M Discus Seb Whiteley U18M Shot Grace Aimuwu U18W Long Jump Jess Wilkins U18W Hammer Silver Alice Stiles SW 1500m Sam Damson SM Long Jump Will Jones U18M 400m Hurdles Bronze Louise Smith SW Long Jump Will Jones U18M 400m - At the Greater Manchester Schools Championships at Longford Park, Beth Pendlebury threw 46.44 metres in the Discus to surpass the qualifying distance for the European U18 Championships to be held in Rieti, Italy. At the same meeting Johnny Jones threw 19m exactly in the Shot Putt to break his own club record.
- The Grand Prix on 9th June saw over 350 athletes compete as did the Medal Meeting on 14th June.
- Famous faces seen at the track recently include;
Jake Wightman World Championships Gold & Siver Medallist Hannah Nuttall 2025 World Championships 8th placer in the 5000m Andy Bouchard Olympic 5000m finalist and former Parkrun world-record holder Fabian Delph Former Man City & England footballer watching his daughter at the Medal Meeting - The biggest schools cup competition in the north, the English Schools North West Cup Final was held at Longford Park in early June.
- Mike Harris was the Independent Observer on the England Athletics Selection Panel for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games team.
