The fields were a bit smaller in the U17 age groups but the standard was high. Joe Deighton led Trafford U17 mens A Team but picked up a hip injury on the twisty, tight course, but still managed to get to the finish.  Freddie Meredith then ran a solo time trial still recording the 12th fastest time of the day and Luke Carrington finished off the A Team.  The B Team (James Walton, Joe Daly and Josh Watson) finished a close 4th B team.

Trafford's U17 women's team are looking very strong this winter.  Sara and Ava Clough got the team off to a great start coming home in 3rd place and recording times in the top 10 overall.  Rosa Morrello stepped into the team at short notice and had her best ever race keeping the team in the top 5 overall.

In the Senior Men's race Trafford had a mixture of youngsters and experienced seniors in 3 teams.  It was James Knockton the youngest in the team who got the A Team off to a great start finishing 10th on first leg and 16th fastest time of the day.  Jay Ferns, Cynog Williams, Simon O'Meara, Jeff Prest and David Bowers all ran solid legs keeping the team in 17th place out of the 108 complete teams that finished.  There were also some good runs from Trafford's B Team (Naeem Stevens, Stephen Lunn, Matt Sutton, Darren Russell, Ryan Stevenson and Jack Cooper) who were 11th B Team.
