Trafford athletes marked impressive performances and gained championship experience at the English U23/U20 Champs this weekend.

Naomi Ogbeta won the U23 Triple Jump with 13.58m.

Jay Ferns was 13th in the U23 5000m clocking 15:25.52

In his U20 200m heat Sanchez Nguie was 4th in 22.63.

Xav O’Hare ran 4:05.83 for 6th in his U20 1500m heat, while running in the U23 race Danny Lawton was 7th clocking 4:01.53.

Rivi Brown was unfortunately disqualified from his 110m Hurdles.
