You are here >> Home - News - News ItemNews Item11 June 2018Trafford Results from Day 2 of the Northern Senior/U20 ChampionshipsWell done everyone who competed at the Northern Senior/U2O Champs, there were further brilliant performances from Trafford athletes on the second day (full results: https://www.northernathletics.org.uk/download/na-senior-under-20s-tf-championship-results-2018/): Sanchez Nguie posted a speedy 21.90 for silver in the U20 Men 200m Final (wind speed +2.3). Sinead Bent improved from her fourth in the 1500m on Day 1 to third in the Senior Women’s 800m, with a PB 2:10.53. Nisha Desai clocked 60.14 for third in the Senior Women’s 400m Hurdles, while Chloe Esegbona was fourth with 64.79. The U20 Men’s 400m Hurdles saw George Hurst take the bronze with 63.92. Joel Richardson was fourth in the Senior Men’s 200m, clocking 21.95. Laurence Hopkins ran a PB of 62.53 for seventh in the Senior Men’s 400m Hurdles. Jacob Fletcher was fourth in the Senior Men’s javelin, recording 32.66. In the Senior Men’s Long Jump, Dominic Blake was fifth with 6.61 and Luke Halstead was ninth with 6.25. |
