Lower YDL Match 4 Report

For Match 4 in this year’s YDL Lower, the team had an ‘International’ fixture when they visited the Menai track in the shadow of the famous Menai Bridge.

The lads, in particular, were short numbered with quite a few being unavailable due to holidays, this inevitably affected the overall position on the day, 5th; but we did secure our position in the league for next season, by finishing 4th overall.

A special thanks to those who officiated, Diana, Nicole, Chris, Gavin, Rob, Donna, Neil and Jess.

Once again this year’s competition has been very competitive with high levels of performance across most events from all the clubs involved and competed in a very friendly and supportive manner by all.

Well done to all who’ve competed in this years YDL, there have been some outstanding performances and it’s been great to see so many of you develop during the season. We hope you enjoyed it.

A big thank you to all who’ve made this season happen, the coaches – Cecil, Mike, Gavin, Duncan, Chris, Anna, Neil, Kieran, Iheanyi and Tom; and especially all those who’ve helped officiate during the season – your help and support is invaluable.
