Sunday 27^th January saw 40 Trafford athletes taking part in the Greater Manchester Sportshall Championships and winning 40 medals between them. (18 Gold, 14 Silver, 8 Bronze)

A big thanks to those who helped officiate and so ensured that the competition could proceed – Gavin, Dianna, Charlie and Chris.

As ever it was great to see all the athletes supporting and encouraging each other.

We also managed to maintain our record of having a ‘Trafford-Wash’ in at least one event, this year we managed to take all the medals in u11g Standing Long Jump, u15g Standing Long Jump and u15g 2 Lap.

The u15 girls managed to win all the gold medals in their competition – well done all(!)

The Greater Manchester teams for the Regional Finals will be announced once the selectors have had the opportunity to pour over the results - those selected will be informed as soon as possible.

The regional final is at Sportscity on Sunday 24th March (u11, u13 & u15)

The Nationl Finals will be 13th April - u13's; 14th April u15's - again at Sportscity.
