The British Athletic League got underway today in sunny Leigh.  Following promotion from National 4, the team finished an excellent 2nd on the day.  However, it was a case of what could have been as we missed out on  top spot by 0.5 points to Notts AC.  We did especially well on the track with a double win for Joel Richardson and Reece Ingley in the 400m and other A string wins from Dave Horniman in the 1500m and Rivi Brown in the 100m and 110mH.  His 110mH race was his first ever over the senior height hurdles.  We did less well in the field but picked up good points from Sergii Saraiev and Roger Bate in the Hammer and Discus.

The next match is 2nd June in Chelmsford.
