It was the final BAL match of the season on Saturday August 4th in Nottingham. The team still had an outside chance of promotion and could even still be relegated.
In the end, with a rather makeshift squad in the field, we finished 4th on the day, not too far off 3rd. This gave us 5th in the league, only 0.5 points behind 4th.
There were wins for the 4x400 team, Sanchez Nguie in the B 100, Rick Beardsell in the B 400 and Jacob Fletcher in the B Javelin.
2nd places for Sanchez in the A 200, Joel Richardson in the A 400 and Lawrence Hopkins in the B Steeplechase.
3rd places for Rivi Brown in the A 110mH, Jay Ferns in the A 5000m, Michael O'Donnell in the A Javelin, the 4x100m team, Rick Beardsell in the B 200m and Matt Sutton in the B 5000m.
In addition there were pbs for Reece Ingley in the 800m, George Hurst in the 400mH, Darren Russell in the 3000m steeplechase and Lawrence Hopkins in the steeplechase.
