On Sunday 30th December the Ribble Valley 10k, incorporating the Northern 10km Championships were held in Clitheroe.  The still conditions were favourable for quick times and indeed the men's and women's course records were broken.  

Jay Ferns and Vicki Cronin were first man and woman for Trafford, recording 31:26 and 38:07 respectively.  That put Jay 26th and Vicki 21st.  Mac O'Malley (U20) ran 32:54 for a 2018 best, Simon O'Meara 33:25 for a PB, Xav O'Hare (U20) 33:58 for a SB, Jack Wilkinson (U20) 34:05 for a brilliant PB and Benjamin Langley ran 39:25.

Jay, Mac and Simon counted toward the Northern Champs team result, finishing 7th.
