The hill of Woodbank Park provides a challenging feature for runners and an entertaining spectacle for supporters.

Our U15 girls and U17 men relished its demand with excellent third and first team places, respectively.  Cynog Williams won his second MACCL race of the season for the U17 men.  Such was the depth of talent in the U15 girls, they were 2nd B team.

In the U17 women Rebecca Young continued her good form, placing 9th here, her highest position of the season.

The U11 boys comprised Evan Lewis, Barney Watson and Joe Watson.  They finished 12th, with Evan scoring well in 16th.  The U11 girls were 11th team featuring Daisy Atkiss, Martha McCormack and Sadie McCormack.  Daisy finished superbly in 18th.

A highlight of the day was seeing many U13 representatives from Trafford.  In the girls this included: Imogen Davenport (40th), Freya Griffiths (42nd), Cleo Bentall (47th), Olivia Holbrook (52nd), resulting in 13th team.  For the boys Charlie Atkiss (12th), Sonny Wilson (15th) and James Walton (18th) were 3rd team, while Josh Watson (19th), Joe Daly (28th) and Zack Watson (35th) were 8th team.  Austin Smith also ran well to finish 44th.

For the U15 boys it was great to see Alex Brown's training paying off as he finished 31st with Ned Silvey 38th.

The senior men and women both finished 11th in the team event.  The women were spearheaded by Amy Cauley in 26th and including a 2nd V45 place for Sally Woolhouse.  Meanwhile Joe Lynne placed an impressive 19th as our first place finisher for the men.
