Junior Parkrun allows 4-14 year olds to race against eachother and the clock over 2km every week.  Each Parkrun has its own start time and day, so check the website for details (www.parkrun.org.uk/events/juniorevents/).  There are runs in Platt Fields (Fallowfield), Alexandra Park (Moss Side) and Seymour Park (Old Trafford) now.
