The Northern Indoor Championships were held in Sheffield on January 12th & 13th.  There were some outstanding performances from Trafford athletes.

Sanchez Nguie (U20) won the 60m and 200m title, clocking 7.00s (a PB) and 21.88s.

Naomi Ogbeta set a Championship Record as she won the triple jump in 13.49m.

Jerel Livingston was second in the U17 long jump with 6.42m.

Reece Ingley was second in the 400m final with 49.35.

Also in the triple jump, Michelle Robbins-Hulse took bronze with 12.14m.

Hayley Perrin also claimed bronze as she jumped 5.76m in the long jump.

Kristie Allen was fifth in the U17 300m final with a time of 43.92 (43.43 in the heats).

Chloe Esegbona placed sixth in the 60m hurdles final as she ran 9.60s.

Rivi Brown was seventh in the 60m final having run 7.00s in the heats.

Rushwan Lewis ran 2:06.59 in the U20 800m heats and Lawrence Hopkins clocked 2:07.23.

Ellina Connor ran 27.41 in the U17 200m heats.

Ellie Edwards clocked 7.97s in the 60m heats.
