The suspension of all official club activities until the end of May is still the current situation.

The club has been part of the discussions that involve UK Athletics, English Athletics and other competition providers in an effort to ensure some athletic competitions take place this summer. The season has officially been extended until the end of September as it is unlikely any competitions will take place before July. The NAL is still actively pursuing various options.

If and when the go-ahead for training & competition is given, the club will contact all its`members.

The Grand Prix and Medal Meeting programme may well be extended into September & possibly beyond as the aim will be to provide our athletes with as much competition as possible before the year is out.

The club has applied for a grant from the Community Emergency Fund - we should hear by mid-May.
