A record turnout in the sixth running of the modern-era handicap. Formerly a 10-miler, the race is now run over the parkrun course of 5k. A win for Nicole, although with a very generous handicap. A new U13B record for Charlie & a U17W record for Caitlin. And new records in the senior categories for Simon & Vicki who battled it out down the home straight. Sue added to her record number of appearances and now goes onto 5.
Greg took a mighty slide at the sharp right by the track bollards and lost a few seconds on Ryan which resulted in a few cuts to elbow & leg. Others chose to cut the corner & waddle through the mud which proved to be the slower route. Ravi becomes the youngest to complete the race. |
