Northern Athletics U13 / U15 / U17 Championships

 

The Northern athletics age group Championships took place at Liverpool over the weekend. This is one of the highest levels of competition available for the u15’s & u17’s after the Nationals and Schools championships. For the u13’s it is the highest level of competition available.

 

Thirteen Trafford athletes took part, winning an impressive 11 medals between them.

 

Medal winners were

 

Gold

Peter - u13b - 100m

Trezeguet - u15g - 100m

Halle - u15g - High Jump; Long Jump; Triple Jump

Jerel – u17m – Long Jump

 

Silver

Peter - u13b - 200m

Jerel – u17m - 100m

Joe B – u17m – 1500m

Alex B – u17m – 1500m Steeple Chase

 

Bronze

Caden – u15b – 3^rd Shot

 

Also competing were Ellina, Alex, Jack, Erin, Charlie and Joe M.

 

Well done to all who competed in very trying conditions and good luck to those going on the Nationals at Bedford at the end of the month – expect wind there too!
