Great Performance in Northern League

Fantastic team performance and a stellar turnout at yesterday's Northern League match. Thanks to everyone who turned up, worked so hard, and particularly to anyone who volunteered to fill gaps on the team sheet. We came 2nd overall, which is exactly where we wanted to be. We also opened up a solid points gap between ourselves and the next placed team – West Cheshire.

Overall, we are now mid-table and out of the bottom two positions, with the aim of being among the top teams after the final two matches. The next match is at Ellesmere Port on 2nd August, which is West Cheshire's home match (please do keep an eye out for communications in the next week or so) – let's carry the momentum we've built and aim to deliver a similarly spectacular performance there.  How we do in this next match will be crucial for final league positions.

Personal bests from Daniella Graham-Marti (400m), Beth Reid (800m), Kate Meeson (1500m), Isabelle Pearson (3000m), Ruth Beresford (3000m), Angelica Omeje (100m Hurdles), Francesca Lucas (Pole Vault), Kerrie Buckley (Shot Put), and Felix Taylor in the Discus. Season's bests from Lisa Halliday (400m Hurdles), Deborah Dasse (High Jump), Finley Mayo (1500m), Simon O'Meara (5000m), Kenta Brannon (LJ), Ian Scholes (PV), and Seb Valentine (Jav). Congratulations to you all, and apologies if anyone has been missed off.

A huge thanks to all the Officials, Coaches, and Helpers – who all helped to make the day a great success and worked with us to build the team.

Well done to you all!
