Trafford athletes were prominent at the British Indoor Senior Championships, which doubled as the European Indoor Champs Trials to be held in Holland in March

Abi Pawlett won the 60m Hurdles in a new Personal Best of 8.09 secs.

Sam Damson won a Bronze medal in the Long Jump with 7.60m, just 8 cm short of his PB.

Halle Ferguson was 5th in the High Jump with 1.77m.

Rik Yates, former European Championships 400m Hurdles athlete, and still going strong at 39, was 3rd in his 60m Hurdles heat with 8.53 secs.

Jack Hocking was 4th in his 400m heat with 48.91 secs.

Dan Akinradewo was 8th in the Triple Jumps with 13.87 metres.

HCA athletes who compete for Trafford were also prominent - Jazmine Moss was 3rd in the 200m after recording a PB of 23.53 secs in the semi-final whilst Hannah Kelly was 6th in the 400m with 53.14 secs
