After a series of 5 races running over hills in the beautiful English countryside the English Fell Running Championship finished on Sunday at Sedbergh.

Adrian White was Trafford's top runner finishing an impressive 3rd overall in the U13 boys and backed up by his younger brother Daniel White who was 43rd overall the team finished 8th.

Jay Hutchinson was 10th in the U15 boys with Evan Lewis 32nd and again the Trafford team finished 8th.

In the U17s Josh Watson in 15th and Luke Carrington in 18th are building on their experience on the fells and together picked up 3rd team overall.

In the overall junior championship the boys were 16th out of 58 teams just ahead of Blackburn, Bingley and Salford.

The sole Trafford girl who competed in the fell championships was Fay Lewis and as one of the youngest in the U17 women's race was a creditable 30th overall.
