Well done to Sorcia, Grace, Tselot, Jayden, Ore and Jay who were all selected to represent Greater Manchester at the North West Sportshall Final on Saturday 26th March 2022 at the Sportcity Indoor Arena.

Full results can be seen here.  Grace won the individaul 2 lap in the U13 girls.  Sorcia (U13G), Jayden (U13B) and Ore (U13B) were part of victorious teams in the 4x1 lap relays.  

Sorcia was 2nd in the standing long jump (note that at the time of writing, the current standing long jump winner in the linked results above appears to be an error) whilst Grace was 4th in the shot.  The two of them teamed up to gain 2nd in the 4x2 lap relay (just 0.1 s off first).

Jayden was 6th in the speed bounce, whilst Tselot was 7th in the standing long jump.

In the U15 boys Jay was equal 3rd in the speed bounce, 6th in the standing triple jump and 9th in the 4 lap.  He finished off the day with 2nd in the 8 lap paarlauf.

For the Greater Manchester team it was a very successful day.  U15 boys and U13 girls were 2nd overall.  The U13 boys won!!  That means the U13 boys are selected for the National Final in Colchester (Essex) on Sunday 10th April 2022.
